New York police have cracked down on drivers as the state’s Move Over tickets soar.
The crackdown comes after more tickets were being distributed to drivers who refuse to pull over to allow passage for roadside vehicles.
The laws expanded in 2023, and around 40 percent more violations have been recorded since, and numbers have increased from 9,000 to 12,000 citations on the roads.
State police have advised people to pay attention to avoid tragedies, with drivers being charged for offences.
