Nick Mason is the drummer of Pink Floyd, one of the world’s biggest-ever rock bands.

First formed in London in 1965, the drummer has been the only constant member of the band.

Aside from serving as the drummer of this iconic band, he’s also a gearhead of the highest order.

And he has a car collection that will absolutely blow your mind.

Mason serves as backbone of greatness

Like any great drummer, Nick Mason has often been overshadowed by his fellow band members.

In all fairness, it’s pretty easy to be stuck in the shadow of David Gilmour and Roger Waters.

Mason, along with Waters, Syd Barrett, and Richard Wright, founded the rock band in 1965.

Together, they all enjoyed success for the first two years – before Barrett left in 1968.

The history of the band would change forever when David Gilmour joined in 1967.

Pink Floyd became arguably the biggest band of the 1970s, releasing three legendary albums.

In 1973, the band released The Dark Side of the Moon, which catapulted the group to international fame.

It would go on to sell over 45 million copies, becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time.

1975 saw the release of Wish You Were Here, which reached number one in the US and UK.

At the end of the decade, Mason helped the band produce the legendary album The Wall.

It would become the second best-selling album from the group, and one of their most legendary.

By 2013, Pink Floyd had sold over 250 million records worldwide.

This makes the group one of the most successful music acts to ever live.

Another car in the garage: Nick Mason has legendary collection

If you know anything about Pink Floyd, then you know about Nick Mason’s cars.

You will also know that Mason’s car collection is an absolute treasure trove.

One thing to love about Nick Mason is that he is a true gearhead.

He also drives all of the cars in his collection the way they were meant to be driven.

Back in 1977, Mason bought one of the rarest Ferrari cars ever made.

He paid around $50,000 for a Ferrari 250 GTO.

Yes – Mason bought himself one of the true holy grail Ferrari cars that has ever been made.

It’s so rare, that it’s now estimated to be worth around $50 million.

That essentially works out to 10 houses in the United States.

Mason also owns an iconic F40, as well as the LaFerrari hybrid hypercar.

As if this wasn’t enough, he also has a Ferrari 512S that was driven by Steve McQueen.

Aside from being rock ‘n’ roll royalty, Nick Mason might also be the car collecting king.
