The founder of Nike wanted to have a place for all of his jets, so he decided to build a huge $7.6 million private hangar in Oregon to house his Gulfstream airplanes.

Nike cofounder Phil Knight naturally amassed a large sum of wealth thanks to the athletic apparel company’s success over the years.

The headquarters for the company is in Oregon, and Knight had amassed an amazing collection of private jets as well as Nike-branded supercars.

So naturally, the next thing to do was to build a hangar to house all of them in.

What aircraft does the Nike cofounder have?

With such a large sum of money, Knight owns more than just a few Cessna light aircraft.

One of the aircraft inside is a luxury Gulfstream G650 private jet.

First introduced in 2019, the G650 is one of the most popular business jets in the world.

Before the construction of his hangar, Knight had the aircraft stored at the company’s private jet hangar.

Two other Nike-owned jets lived alongside the G650, which is the world’s fastest private jet.

The company also has two G650 aircraft, as well as a Gulfstream GV.

As one of the top 50 wealthiest people in the world, it made sense for Knight to build his own hangar.

Alongside the G650, there are some Nike-branded supercars housed in it as well.

Like the private jets, the supercars also carry Nike branding.

A Lamborghini with the Nike logo all over it is just one of these cars.

Despite his wealth, Knight doesn’t keep his Gulfstream all to himself.

In fact, he is known for letting employees have a ride on the G650 over the course of a year.

With room for up to 18 passengers, plenty of them get a chance to fly in luxury.

Various athletes, such as LeBron James, have also used the Nike aircraft to get around.

Unlike some millionaires, Knight doesn’t regularly show the aircraft off.

He is very much content with them being tucked away in the hangar he built for them.

At a cost of $7.6 million, the private hangar is almost as valuable as the aircraft themselves.
