North Carolina woman wins car from iconic video game
Okay – so this is one of the more unbelievable stories you might ever see.
It all concerns one of the most iconic video games ever made.
Back in 2016, North Carolina mom Cheri Parker got more involved with Grand Theft Auto than she probably ever imagined.
The Havelock, North Carolina, native allowed her son to buy the video game.
He did so using her credit card.
This is where the story gets fascinating.

It turns out that, at the same time her son bought the game, a special competition was being held.
Iconic car shop West Coast Customs had developed a real-life GTA Bravado Banshee car.
The car just so happens to very closely resemble a Dodge Viper SRT-10.
This creation was brought to life as a competition award for one person who bought the game.
Lo and behold, Parker ended up being the surprising winner.
Incredibly, the North Carolina native did, indeed, receive the real-life GTA car.

Parker tries to sell GTA Bravado Banshee – but can’t
Being a mom, Parker wanted to do something different with the car.
Instead of keeping it or enjoying it, Parker wanted to capitalize on the game and sell it in order to fund her son’s college tuition.

So the North Carolina native listed the real-life GTA Bravado Banshee on eBay for $170,000 in 2014.
Unfortunately, it didn’t really come all that close to selling.
So Parker decided to try again.
A year later, in 2015, she listed the car on eBay – but this time, she listed it for $45,200.
This time, it did sell.
