Trying to test whether ‘robots will ever take over’, this YouTube creator from Ohio gave his life over to ChatGPT, allowing the AI platform to control his movements for 24 hours straight.
AI platforms like ChatGPT and Google Gemini have been growing their hiveminds every day, learning new routines and mastering patterns of human behaviour.
But could you put ChatGPT into the mind of a man and still get the same output?
Well, one creator has given a day in his shoes to the AI platform and seen just how it handles downtime.

YouTuber kickstarts his morning with a ChatGPT routine
While AI might never be able to fully replicate humans, even the likes of Bill Gates claim that we could all cut down to two-day working weeks as platforms like ChatGPT can take the reins in most jobs.
But, while the savvy software is used for optimization and efficiency, could it really step into our shoes and spend a day chilling out in the park without going into overdrive?
Dalton Thompson, a young YouTuber from Ohio, put this into practice, starting from the wake-up routine.
Despite going to sleep at 02:30 am, the platform revealed that the YouTuber should wake up bright and early and begin getting his mind activated.

Although he overslept, the platform suggested that he should start his day off with hydration, physical workouts (which he chose to do in a 3-minute run), a nutritious breakfast, 30 minutes of meditation, and natural sunlight.
The morning routine seemed to eat up most of his early hours, so it was a good job the creator didn’t need to go to work.
After getting his day off to an optimal start, he then challenged the AI program to find him an ‘exhilarating’ activity.
And this is where it all went downhill.
AI-assisted routine lands man in trouble with the police
People have used ChatGPT for all kinds of activities, even having the virtual assistant help land a plane, so it does know a thing or two about being an adrenaline junkie.
But what it planned was quite out-of-the-box: a natural cliff-diving experience.
However, the YouTuber revealed that he didn’t have any natural cliffs nearby and instead chose to jump into a river.
This move quickly landed him in trouble with the authorities, though, as the river was not for swimming in and he wasn’t allowed to jump from where he did.

But after being let off with a warning, ChatGPT took control back and chose to have him spend the afternoon biking through the park.
In the evening, it suggested a Little Caesars Pizzeria for dinner, a suitable bedtime, and some wind-down exercise.
So, could AI really live a day in a man’s body? Well, with the attitude of a young gamer and a sleep pattern to go with it, the virtual assistants have a lot to learn.
“In the end, do I think robots and AI will replace us? Hell no. So don’t get your hopes up,” he said.
Still, there could be a chance that some more well-optimized routines would suit the AI bot.
