Ohio streamer iShowSpeed took a ride in a Chinese hydrogen-powered flying car for the first time.
Whilst visiting Shenzhen, China, the 20-year-old American was given the opportunity to fly in the EHang EH216-S.
Speed is known for doing bold and exciting things, but taking to the skies quite literally next level.
As exciting as this flight looked to his viewers, you could tell he was petrified.

If there’s one thing you can count on iShowSpeed for, it’s the unexpected.
As far as celebrities go, he’s certainly one of the gutsiest ones.
You may recall that he jumped over a supercar as it sped towards him, with his dad behind the wheel, no less.
He also took a F4 car for a spin at Nürburgring, and bought a $10 million mansion when he was just 18 years old.

So you could say his life is pretty unconventional.
Most of his recent escapades have been taking place in China, where he’s currently traveling through the country.
So far during his trip, he’s driven a new Chinese EV and a $250k hypercar.
As cool as those experiences undoubtedly were, getting to sit in a flying car is a whole different ball game.
The flying car in question was the EHang EH216-S, a two-seater aerial vehicle.

We’ve heard a lot about flying cars over the years, whether it be a project in China, the US, or the UK.
But to see one in action like this was extraordinary.
It’s just a shame that Speed seemed to have some jitters about taking a flight.

Before he got inside, he seemed excited.
“This is the future, right here!
“I’m about to be the first YouTuber/Public figure/Streamer to drive the flying car,” he said, speaking to his millions of viewers.

Once he realized that he would be inside the car by himself, though, panic began to set in.
His nerves were understandable – it was a historic moment.
Once the car began starting up, the YouTuber put out a desperate plea.
“Oh God, I know I do so much crazy.
“But please, just this one time…I’m in a damn flying car. Oh, I’m scared,” he admitted.
His fear didn’t settle much once he was up in the air.
His screams of fear – and barks – could barely be heard over the sound of the propellers.

But back on the ground, the reality of the situation came back to him.
“I’m the first person to drive a flying car!”, he yelled.
“By myself! Let’s f**king go!! I did it!”
He confirmed that the car was ‘very stable’ and seemed to give it his endorsement, although he looked a little queasy.
