This Pennsylvania man gave a long-term review of his Tesla Model 3 that’s racked up a very impressive 180,000 miles.

As he drives 80 miles each way to work daily, he is certainly qualified to give a long-term review as he spends a lot of time behind the wheel.

After so many miles, he remains impressed by how far his Tesla has traveled and the condition that it’s in after such heavy use.

The man has had to do a single repair on his own, but he seems like a happy driver who expects many more miles of smiles in his EV.

His long-term review of a Tesla Model 3 after 180,000 miles

There are many different opinions about how reliable EVs are, but it seems the Tesla Model 3 is often trusted for its reliability and quality.

This man from Pennsylvania decided to give a review of his Tesla Model 3 after 180,000 miles, especially as he drives 80 miles each way every day, driving to and from his job.

Despite the EV’s huge mileage, he described his Model 3 as ‘handling like new’ and it has little to no rattles, squeaks, or issues with the steering.

At full charge, the Tesla’s battery now offers 240 miles of range, which is down from the range it had when new, but still way more than enough for his commute to work.

He’s got many miles of smiles left

According to the owner, cold winters reduce battery efficiency by 20-25 percent. But that’s not an issue because he charges his Model 3 nightly in his garage.

He estimated that he has saved thousands of dollars by not having to pay for gas and using Tesla’s app for tracking fuel-equivalent savings directly.

He called it ‘by far the best electric vehicle‘ and loves the handling, acceleration, and practicality, but wished the EV came with a spare tire.

However, he had to replace the front control arms, which he tackled himself. And a broken side mirror cost just $100 as a DIY instead of Tesla’s almost $1,000 offering.

He’s had miles of smiles and is looking forward to keeping the EV running ‘until it dies’, when he will buy a new one as a replacement.
