The stunning Porsche-based RML P39 made its debut at Supercar Fest.
The P39 is a more powerful version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, inspired by the Le Mans-winning Porsche GT1.
It’s made by RML, a UK-based tuner, and they say it is even faster around the Nürburgring than the 911 GT3 RS.
And it has a massive wing at the back, which never hurts.

The inspiration for the RML P39 came from GT1 race cars that competed at Le Mans in the 1990s.
The wheelbase is 25mm longer, which makes the whole car longer, which in turn will make the car more stable at high speeds.
According to RML, this Porsche-based beauty is now able to produce 35 percent more downforce than before.

It also features a carbon fiber body, and an active rear wing with a Formula 1-inspired Drag Reduction System (DRS).
The engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six, but it was modified with a new pair of turbochargers, improved intercoolers, and an upgraded engine management system.
As a result, it now produces over 900bhp, over 250 more than the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
RML ran simulations and the P39 could lap the ‘Ring in 6 minutes and 45 seconds, which would make it 4.3 seconds quicker than the 911 GT3 RS.

The first early prototype was originally unveiled a few months ago, but the one that showed up at Supercar Fest a lot closer to the final production version.
Only 39 units will be made.
The price is only available upon request.
But you know the drill.
As the old adage goes, if you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can’t afford it.

The P39 joins an illustrious list of GT1-inspired cars.
Not that long ago, a mysterious Porsche was spotted at LAX.
A few weeks later, the mystery was solved because we discovered that was also a GT1-inspired beauty, aptly called the GT ONE, designed by Tuthill.
