A Portuguese company has made history by releasing Portugal’s first ever supercar and while it’s beautiful, it will leave a big hole in your pocket.
Under two meters tall and weighing just over 1000kgs, the Adamastor Furia is changing the European supercar game, hoping that one day it too can join the ranks of Porsche, Ferrari, and Bugatti.
The rear-wheel powered carbon molded supercar is new to the road and the racetrack, but whichever version you buy, you can guarantee yourself a good time.
The supercar has space enough for two, so you can bring a friend along on your new Portuguese adventure and see what this new kid on the block is offering.

The new kid on the block
Amongst the well-established European supercar brands, there are classics like Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Maserati, and even relative newcomer Koenigsegg.
And soon there might be a new name to add to the list: Adamastor.
The Portuguese automaker is the first of its kind to produce a road car and a racecar version of its supercar, which is menacingly called the Adamastor Furia.
Described by Adamastor as ‘a dream come true’, Portugal’s first ever supercar weighs just over 1,000kgs as a lightweight and aerodynamic supercar that is a total track-muncher.
The Furia has some competition on the European supercar market, and clocking in at around $1.7 million, it has a lot to prove with its eye-watering pricetag, rivalling that of a top-line Koenigsegg.

The Furia can drive on both the racetrack and normal roads, and has approval for both, it will be zooming around with more than 650 horsepower as it is powered by a Ford Performance 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 block motor.
According to the automaker itself, the Adamastor Furia stands out in terms of aerodynamics, as downforce is produced by an “elaborate underbody with two air passages (Venturis), largely responsible for the generated ground effect.”
Only time will tell if Adamastor will have what it takes to compete against the big boys of the European supercar market, but one thing’s for certain, the Furia sure is beautiful.
