Premier League players are some of the best-paid sportsmen in the world, and they have the cars to prove it.

Most have enviable rides, if not fleets full of rare or flashy cars.

But this West Ham footballer shocked fans after footage of the team in their respective cars emerged on TikTok.

Andy Irving’s vehicle was surprisingly humble, and it’s sparked debate.

The cars of the Premier League

Footballers are known for their expensive taste, often choosing to spend their millions on exotic cars.

There’s Bukayo Saka who owns so many luxury vehicles that he recently sold his Mercedes-AMG G63, just because.

And David Beckham, whose fleet includes a $275,000 supercar that he designed himself.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a $185,000 BMW MX, not to mention his $75 million private jet that can accommodate 19 passengers.

And he nearly got his hands on a Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti worth $36 million, but was outbid by Lionel Messi.

And it’s not just actual cars that catch their attention, with Premier League stars recently spotted by Supercar Blondie behind the virtual wheels on the Red Bull sims.

So it makes sense that people were confused by what West Ham’s Andy Irving has been seen driving.

A humble choice

A TikTok video surfaced showing West Ham players leaving training.

The lineup was incredible, featuring a Lamborghini Urus 339, multiple Land Rovers, and a Bentley Bentayga worth $310,708.

But one car stood out: Andy Irving’s Nissan Juke worth about $25,000.

It’s been reported that the young player is sensible with his money, choosing to keep his humble car and invest in real estate for his family.

He joins a group of celebrities who have extraordinary wealth yet choose to drive simple cars.

Jerry Springer is a billionaire but just bought himself an $18,000 Fiat sedan.

And Tom Hanks owns an unusual looking EV made in 2008.

David Beckham’s runaround car is a Land Rover Series III, which is only really humble when compared to the rest of his garage.

Some commenters stated that this was a sign that Irving needed a raise, but others praised him for his down-to-earth sensibilities.

“Good to see he’s living in his means as opposed to blowing his contract on a flash car,” one commenter said.

“Top man for not falling into the same trap as the rest of the players,” another said.
