Billionaire Jerry Seinfeld just bought a humble car for $18k and loves it

Jerry Seinfeld, one of the richest entertainers in America, has just bought a 1971 Fiat 124 Special T.

It’s a relatively simple car, and it cost him $18,000.

This classic is in great condition, which explains why it wasn’t that cheap, considering this is – when all is said and done – just a Fiat sedan.

But for a guy worth 10 figures, $18,000 isn’t even a drop in a bucket.

The gorgeous Fiat 124 Special T that Seinfeld just bought

The car in question is a 1971 Fiat 124 Special T which, when it was new, would’ve been a relatively common and inexpensive car.

He loves it, despite owning a variety of other cars, including a rare Porsche Carrera GT.

It’s finished in a gorgeous shade of sand yellow, Fiat calls it Dark Ivory, with two-tone cloth interior that has ‘1970s’ written all over it.

The engine is a 1.4-liter inline-four, putting out 80 horsepower.

Or at least that’s what it had when it was new, it’s probably a bit less powerful than that today.

How much is Jerry Seinfeld worth?

Ironically, the A-listers most people think of when they think of Hollywood generally don’t make the top 10 list of wealthiest celebrities in America.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, for example, is reportedly worth around $800 million.

That’s nothing to sneeze at, but it’s not as impressive as Jerry Seinfeld’s net worth, which is somewhere north of $1.1 billion.

However, both pale in comparison to Jami Gertz, who has a net worth of $3+ billion.

It’s actually close to $7 billion if you combine her wealth with her husband’s.

Gertz has starred in over 20 movies and even more TV shows, including, ironically, Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Seinfeld’.

But most of her money actually comes from other businesses.

Among other things, she owns two NBA teams.
