12-year-old Prince George allegedly asked a $450 million superyacht to change course to grab a McDonald’s

12-year-old Prince George allegedly asked the crew of a $450 million superyacht to change course to some Greek islands so they could grab a McDonald’s.

In a true, ‘Wow, they’re just like us,’ moment, it became clear that the young prince and future King of England fell victim to a craving we all have from time to time. Yes, he was hankering for a Big Mac.

The only problem was that he found himself on a $450 million superyacht in the middle of the Mediterranean, and all the gourmet food from the best chefs in the world would not satisfy his craving for crispy Maccies nuggs.

The 12-year-old Prince allegedly wanted the fast-food treat so badly that the superyacht he was on, Opera, had to make an unscheduled stop in the middle of their vacation at some Greek Islands.

Prince George got a superyacht to change course for McDonald’s

Sometimes we get reminded that the British Royal Family is just like us, apart from when they take a vacation on a $450 million superyacht that is so exclusive it’s not even up for charter.

However, on this vacation, the 12-year-old Prince George was allegedly suffering from a craving that mere mortals also suffer from, a hankering for the Golden Arches.

Despite all the gourmet food from the best chefs in the world, Prince George would not be happy until he got himself a Big Mac and some iconic McDonald’s fries.

The only problem? The superyacht, Opera, that he and his family are currently vacationing on, was at that moment in the middle of the Med.

The pull of a Big Mac was too strong

The British Royal Family had just left the Greek island of Kefalonia and was heading south to another island called Zakynthos when Prince George made his request.

The Opera superyacht had to turn around, and a tender full of crew members was sent out to go and pick up the crispy and delicious meal for the young prince from McDonald’s.

It’s a charming reminder that the Royals are just like us and that sometimes the hankering for a Big Mac is so overwhelming you need to your superyacht to do a U-turn in the middle of the ocean.
