This pro-driver pranked a driving instructor by pretending to be a learner driver – only to spend the lesson street drifting.
Ari, the host of YouTube channel AriAndCars, is no stranger to some high-power driving.
But for the purposes of this prank, he was an inexperienced learner.
And his driving instructor, Christine Martin, was in for the ride of her life.

How this driving instructor ended up getting pranked – and taken for a wild ride
Ari had picked up the striking green sports car from Craigslist – certainly not the first time the site has found its way into a YouTube gag, as demonstrated when this Tesla owner asked for an oil change.
For the sake of this prank, he pretended to have limited English and to be a totally novice with cars.
Fortunately, he had a patient teacher, who had to explain to him the importance of wearing a seatbelt.
Once they started off on the road, things seemed to be going relatively smoothly.
That being said, a lot of conversation between the two was drowned out by the roar of the engine.
Not the best circumstances under which to take a driving lesson.
And Ari didn’t have his seatbelt on – a big concern for Christine as she could get sued if he injured himself.
Good thing he’s a pro then, which he demonstrated by drifting around a corner.
It was at this point that Christine began screaming.
By the time he brought the car to a stop, she was looking more than a bit frazzled.
The truth about the prank comes out.
It was at this point that Ari decided to come clean.
He said: “My name’s Ari, I’m a pro driver…”
Clocking onto the gag, Christine asked: “And your accent?”
Ari replied: “You just got pranked, that was completely fake.”
Fortunately, she saw the humor in the hair raising situation and immediately burst out laughing.
Once she got some fresh and got herself back to reality, Christine was still struggling to find the words.
The first full sentence she came out with: “Do you need a teaching job?”
Ari’s not in the market for a job at the moment, but we’d pay a lot to see how a driving lesson under his watch would go.
Viewers on Ari’s channel commended her reaction and for taking the prank in good humor.
One commenter said: “She handled that so well! And she even laughed about being pranked, offering him a job!”
Another weighed in: “What an absolute gem of a lady, she went into the experience with an open mind and a willingness to teach and be positive.”
Her reaction was certainly more positive than that on LeBron James’ son, who was left seething when his dad filled up his car with cereal.
