The Ram 1500 TRX went head-to-head with a Lamborghini Huracan in a drag race, and the 1,350HP truck left no doubt about its dominance.
This clash between a tuned pickup and a purpose-built supercar quickly went viral after the Ram 1500 TRX surged ahead with shocking acceleration.
Despite the Lamborghini Huracán’s aerodynamic advantage and track-focused design, it couldn’t keep up.
The outcome has sparked major discussion about how far modern tuning can take a street-legal performance truck.

The Ram 1500 TRX, known for its off-road roots and aggressive stance, is already a powerhouse in its stock form.
But in this race, the truck was transformed into a drag-strip monster with a 7.0-liter engine, 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, and E85 fueling.
That combination pushed the 1,350HP truck into territory few expected, including the Huracán.
The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica came to the fight with a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 631HP and 417LB-FT of torque.
It sprints from 0 to 60MPH in just 3.1 seconds and hits a top speed of 202MPH.
Built for speed and aerodynamics, the Huracán has long been a benchmark for supercar performance.

On paper, it should have had the advantage, especially against a vehicle that weighs almost twice as much.
Despite the odds, the Ram 1500 TRX stunned viewers in the drag race by launching harder and pulling ahead almost immediately.
Weighing in at over 6,300 pounds, the truck still managed a 0 to 60 time of just 2.75 seconds and completed the quarter mile in 10.46 seconds at over 132MPH.
The Lamborghini Huracan simply couldn’t close the gap, proving that raw power can sometimes outweigh engineering elegance.
Late Model Racecraft, the team behind the Ram 1500 TRX build, upgraded nearly every aspect of the truck’s performance.
The camshaft, fuel delivery, and ECU were all optimized for maximum acceleration.

Even in Houston’s hot and humid weather, the 1,350HP truck had no traction issues and performed beyond expectations.
This race highlights how far tuning has come in leveling the playing field between supercars and performance trucks.
While the Lamborghini Huracan remains a symbol of Italian performance, the tuned Ram 1500 TRX has proven that with the right build, even a truck can dominate a drag race.
The Ram 1500 TRX’s victory over the Lamborghini Huracan is a clear reminder that horsepower, when properly harnessed, can rewrite expectations.
As tuners continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with production vehicles, we’re likely to see even more surprising matchups on drag strips around the world.
