Car enthusiasts, rejoice as an old relic has appeared on the resale site Facebook Marketplace for a small sum.

The car has had three previous owners who have clearly enjoyed the vehicle to the max, according to the odometer that reads 75,000 miles.

Parked in Washington, the 1985 Machiavelli Max is said to bear a striking resemblance to everyone’s favorite supercar, the Ferrari.

But, it turns out that the vehicle actually harbors parts from many different car manufacturers and is much like dipping your hand in a box of Lucky Charms.

Looking for a car? Facebook Marketplace could be your new best friend

When searching for a brand-new car, Facebook Marketplace can be your source of all things weird and wonderful, and now even rare.

In fact, a 1985 Machiavelli Max has squeezed its way onto the internet, but it turns out that the car is actually like sifting through a box of Lucky Charms.

“This car is made of a 1985 Pontiac Firebird body with a custom design by the Henderson company using Ferrari trim.

“It’s powered by a Chevy 350 mounted to a t400 transmission,” stated the listing by owner James N Amber Rice.

He explained that the car drives and is in running condition, but it is clear that the Facebook Marketplace find is in need of some TLC to bring it cruising into the 21st century.

The current owner, however, also mentioned that they were installing some new transmission cooler lines, too – so all is not lost.

It’s got an automatic transmission and 75,000 miles on the clock, landing the vehicle with an asking price of just $9,000.

But why is it so rare?

The Machiavelli Max is said to look like the shell of the Ferrari 308, and was produced by car company Henderson Corp, although production didn’t last that long – just two years.

However, you have to admit that the car harboring parts from a Chevy and Pontiac is a weird, yet wonderful find that you don’t see every day.

But, fear not, as sites such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Bring a Trailer are seeing an influx of rare cars of the automotive past creep up onto the auction block.

In fact, recently, an extremely rare barn find in Illinois accidentally revived a long-forgotten American car legacy in a miraculous car discovery.

Plus, on the marvel that is Marketplace, a wrecked Corvette from 1960 turned out to be the cheapest C1 Corvette deal on Earth.
