Many car enthusiasts dream of finding a rare automobile gem in an abandoned building or a barn — so we have listed some of the rarest barn finds ever worth millions of dollars.
Some of these cars were restored, while others were sold off for someone else to take on the restoration.
While many barn finds often include vehicles you can also find at a car show, we have listed a few that are barely seen at all.
Watch the list and try not to get jealous.

Rarest barn finds ever
1961 Ferrari 250 GT California SWB
During the 1950s, a French entrepreneur had a dream of creating his very own classic car museum.
However, he ran out of cash and the family had to sell 50 out of 200 cars.
The remaining 150 cars were left to rot in the Ballion family home in Western France and one of them was a rare 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California SWB.
Eventually, the entire collection was sold in 2015 for $52 million.
The Ferrari 250 GT also accounted for a huge chunk of the amount — making it one of the rarest barn finds ever.
Shelby Cobra Daytona – original prototype
There were only six original prototypes for the near-mythical Shelby Cobra Daytona.
Not many had seen the car until it was found in one of the rarest barn finds in 2001.
One of these prototype cars was found in a private storage unit after it had vanished in the 1970s.
The Shelby Cobra Daytona prototype is now at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.
Other incredible barn finds
Recently, we have also seen quite a few rare barn finds being uncovered.
One such discovery included a rare Aston Martin ‘muscle car’ found in a UK garage after many years.
