Red Bull took speed sky-high when it flew an F1 car over Texas.
The energy drinks company is known for taking things to the extreme and this stunt was no different.
When it comes to promo, why settle for a billboard when you can get everyone looking up at an actual F1 car roaring through the sky?
Red Bull performed the stunt a couple of years ago in order to promote US Grand Prix in Austin.

Red Bull takes to the skies of Texas
The annual event is held at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
In fairness, F1 doesn’t exactly struggle in terms of global promotion.
But having a little help from Red Bull certainly doesn’t hurt.
The purpose of the stunt wasn’t just to show off, though.
The company decided to show off a fan-designed livery especially for the US Grand Prix.
And it took the opportunity to show it off in the most Red Bull-way imaginable.
This stunt was actually performed on the Wednesday before the Grand Prix weekend.
A helicopter took the F1 car through the skies before landing at Oracle HQ in East Austin.
F1 car stunt proved to be a good omen
Of course, such a stunt absolutely wowed the locals and created a massive buzz for the event.
It led many fans to humorously remark that Red Bull really does give you wings.
Such a stunt actually turned out to be a sign of things to come for the race.
Dutch driver (and reigning World Champion) Max Verstappen would enjoy another amazing weekend.
The US Grand Prix in 2023 saw the Oracle Red Bull driver secure his 50th win of his F1 career.
It was also his 15th win of the 2023 season – drawing his own record for wins in a season.
Lewis Hamilton would finish second, but would ultimately be disqualified.
That result would promote McLaren driver Lando Norris into P2.
Then-Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz would round out the COTA podium in Austin.
