Global pop star Rihanna has been spotted wearing one of the most unique in the world.
Rihanna was pictured wearing the 18K yellow gold Rolex King Midas on the weekend, when she announced her baby news alongside partner A$AP Rocky – meaning photos of the watch are now popping up on magazine covers everywhere.
The Rolex King Midas is even more special because it was fully customised by famous jeweller Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura.
The King Midas Rolex gets its name from the mythical Greek ruler Midas who is known for turning everything he touches into gold. While Rihanna may not have these powers, she does have ownership of the ultra-rare Midas, which is arguably more valuable.
However, this one is even more special because it was fully overhauled by the Thai-born fine jewellery designer – made to look as if it was discovered in a tomb from thousands of years ago, with its intricate design features and ‘jagged bits’.
