Richard Mille is gearing up for the World Cup later this year, with this $1.94 million RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer watch.
The Swiss luxury watchmaker was founded in 2001 and has created some of the most extravagant timepieces ever made.
Just take a look at this Rock’n’Roll watch that has a tiny skull in the center of the tourbillion, or this Ferrari timepiece that costs more than a supercar.
The latest offering from Richard Mille will be made in strictly limited numbers and is ideal for soccer fans – assuming they have a spare $1.94 million lying around, of course.

The new Richard Mille watch is the perfect choice for soccer fans ahead of the World Cup
The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer watch is more than just a way to tell the time.
The unique design also allows the wearer to track a soccer game in real time, with a neat match-time indicator positioned at 9 o’clock on the watch’s face, which will take you from kick-off through to the final whistle.

The indicator shows each phase of play, and with each reset the counter moves from the first to the second half, and then to extra time.
The Tourbillon Soccer also has two slick mechanical goal counters, where you can log every goal scored by both your side and the opposition
The counters feature two titanium pushers at both 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock to track goals from the home and visiting sides respectively.
“Each press advances the hands mounted on metallic rails via a dedicated train of gears up to a maximum of nine goals; the tenth returns it to zero thanks to the release of the spring,” the watchmaker explains on its website.
The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer has a power reserve of around 70 hours, which should put you in good stead during the upcoming World Cup.

The stunning watch is made up of 650 internal components finished in grade 5 titanium, and the baseplate has been optimized to offer an ‘extreme weight/resistance ratio’.
It features 51 jewels, and has hand-polished bevelling and locking sections.
And is offered with a choice of two cases: a maroon-colored Basalt TPT, which is derived from volcanic rock, or a deep blue Quartz TPT.

The watches will be made in a strictly limited run of 30 pieces in red carmin Basalt TPT and 30 pieces in dark blue Quartz TPT.
But if you want to get your hands on one you’ll need deep pockets as the watches come with a $1.94 million price tag.
