This Ringbrothers Octavia is an absolute sight to behold.

The company is primarily known for its customized, classic American cars.

Octavia, however, is a different build entirely – because it is based on a 1971 Aston Martin DBS.

It has a longer wheelbase, a carbon-fiber widebody – and an 805bhp engine.

Ringbrothers sets to work on very cool custom creation

Ringbrothers is one of America’s premier custom-build companies.

It is primarily most well-known for winning Battle of the Builders awards at SEMA.

This time, though, the Wisconsin-based company has created something completely different.

They are, in fact, taking on the elite of the elite at Monterey Car Week.

And the brand has brought the mother-of-all cars to do battle.

Its latest creation, called Octavia, is a reimagining of the 1971 Aston Martin DBS.

Octavia began life as a normal, standard 1971 Aston Martin DBS.

But it could not be further from the original – because Ringbrothers has given it a complete makeover.

The brand says it took over 12,000 hours to customize Octavia, and by the looks of it, that was time well spent.

Ringbrothers Octavia is almost completely transformed

So, what exactly did Ringbrothers change on this 1971 Aston Martin DBS?

Well, to put it simply – just about everything that you can imagine.

The firm widened the rear track by ten inches, the front track by eight inches, and even lengthened the overall wheelbase by three inches.

A custom Roadster Shop chassis supplies the base that the unique, carbon-fiber body now sits on.

If all of that wasn’t enough, the entire engine bay was redesigned, courtesy of Gary Ragle from Ragle Design.

Speaking of the engine bay – what engine was put into the Octavia?

The answer is that of an 805bhp, supercharged Ford Performance 5.0-liter V8.

Transmitting and supplying that incredible power is an old-school, six-speed manual gearbox.

Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring said, “Octavia is a combination of state-of-the-art fabrication and imagination.”

“We asked ourselves, ‘What would an MI6 agent drive on holiday?’ This was the result.”

The Octavia is a true, one-of-a-kind stunner – and one that is sure to stand out from the crowd.

It is finished in the appropriately named Double-0 Silver with Nuclear Olive Green accents on the badges and brake calipers.
