Rolls-Royce has been making bespoke luxury cars for a long time, and every once in a while, something comes along that raises the bar even higher — like the Rolls-Royce Spectre Lunaflair.
The luxury car is a one-off bespoke model that was commissioned by an American client.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre Lunaflair also draws inspiration from the lunar halo and tries to recreate this effect with its unique paint job.
Which – by the way – took a year to develop.

One year — that’s how long it took to develop the holographic finish for the Rolls-Royce Spectre Lunaflair.
The ultra-luxury coupe also uses the automaker’s first EV as its base.
“The paint chemistry, application timings, and base coat were extensively trialled in order to meet the client’s concept,” states Rolls-Royce.
The result is a dazzling holographic finish reminiscent of the lunar halo, which is technically an optical illusion.
According to the automaker, it will never be used again on another motor vehicle besides the one-off Rolls-Royce Spectre Lunaflair.
The holographic finish creates a metallic effect under low light conditions and transforms into a bright rainbow when the sun shines on it.
One-off luxury car
Having a fancy, one-off paint job is not the only thing special about this car.
The interior of the Rolls-Royce Spectre Lunaflair has also been modified with a colorful interior – Navy Blue, White, and Peony Pink.
The color combination is meant to reflect the tri-color combo seen around a lunar halo.
You can see this theme on the seats, doors, steering wheel, and also on the Starlight Headliner.
The vehicle is also based on the newest Spectre model.
It has also been described as the ‘world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupe.’
Building a custom Rolls-Royce usually takes months, so it’s no wonder that this particular model took so long.
