There’s a huge salvage yard in the United States, and it’s so massive it could easily be one of the largest junkyards – if not the largest junkyard – in the country.

It was discovered by a YouTuber who found a 22-acre junkyard filled with 100 classic cars.

The YouTuber found out about it thanks to an ad on Facebook Marketplace.

This is because the junkyard’s owner is apparently looking to sell around 100 cars from the lot.

A closer look at the junkyard packed with over 100 classics

The junkyard was discovered by a YouTuber who goes by Real Steel Fabrications.

Most of the cars in this salvage yard are hidden in the woods, some of them have been swallowed up in nature.

They have severely rusted, and some of them look like they’re inches away from death, while others should probably come with a sign that reads ‘the Grim Reaper of cars has already been here’.

The yard is home to all kinds of cars, from just about any automaker you can think of, spanning at least six decades, with cars from the 1930s and every decade thereafter, all the way through the end of the 1990s.

We spotted Toyotas, Fords, and even a Scout.

There are also a lot of Chevy Camaros.

It’s a shame to see these icons in this condition.

As the 85-year-old man who found his very own Camaro decades later on FB proves, a Camaro is exactly the sort of the car you end up developing a bond with.

When a salvage yard looks like a museum

This salvage yard looks a bit like a museum, but unfortunately these things happen all the time, and not just in the United States.

From the long-forgotten dealership in Japan to the secret mine where a collection of vintage Volkswagen models was rotting away, finding a salvage yard packed with rare gems is far from uncommon.

Sometimes it can get even worse.

A while back, somebody discovered a seven-figure yacht that had been abandoned in the forest.

Imagine that.
