Special rewards for cars that touch a milestone
Volvo offers special badges to honor cars that have survived this long journey.
On the other hand, Mercedes-Benz has a tradition of handing out grill medallions and certificates to drivers for achieving this milestone.
Volvo even has an official High-Milage Club for those few who cross 150,000 miles on their cars.
Obviously, legit proofs need to be given as well.
It’s not just an achievement for the car owners but also for the company, as only a reliable and durable car can mark that number on the odometer.
Only those who take special care of their vehicles, treating them like family, can reach 1,000,000 miles on the meter.
An impressive example is a 2003 Honda Accord that reached 1,000,000 miles on its original engine.
Toyota and Porsche also recognize their loyal customers
Toyota also recognizes their customers.
They provide certificates of recognition, and some dealerships might even offer maintenance perks or discounts as a form of appreciation.
One such story involves a Toyota Land Cruiser owner who was honored by the company after surpassing 410,000 miles.
Similar to Volvo, Porsche has a High Mileage Club too.
Besides the special badge and certificate, the company also gives discounts on parts and services.
As mentioned by the company, 10 percent off on parts and labor is received for every 100,000kms driven, 15% off on 140,000kms, and 20% off on 180,000kms.
Now that’s what we call a deal!
But then, how many owners actually cross that milestone?
So, the ones who are taking good care of their cars and hitting that mark on the odometer truly deserve this appreciation.
