Smokey Nagata’s final Toyota Supra is actually a twin-turbo V12 rocket ship located in Florida.

The car has an impressive past and is recognizable to gearheads all around the world.

It’s all thanks to one tuner and his vision for power.

The car runs like no other, with one YouTuber getting to experience it for himself.

Toyota Supras are instantly recognizable cars.

In fact, the Toyoya Supra was even featured in a Fast & Furious movie, but it sadly ended up abandoned in a field.

Plus, even though its reign has come to an end, the Toyota GR Supra Final Edition is set to be released soon, with different perks depending on where you live.

But, long before the Supra was discontinued, one gearhead managed to do something rather special.

Smokey Nagata is a Japanese mechanic known for his vehicle tuning, with one Supra in particular being well-renowned.

YouTuber OG Schaefchen managed to take a look inside the V12 twin turbo for himself. And he was left impressed by what he found.

Smokey Nagata’s gold Toyota Supra was no ordinary car. The engine had been changed and modded to shift at serious speeds, and taken from a Toyota Century.

“It’s the only Supra from Smokey to never be restored or touched whatsoever, it’s exactly how it was,” explained one of the men in the shop.

The YouTuber even described it as ‘one of the most legendary tuner cars ever built.’ And he’s not wrong, with the huge legacy behind it.

After visiting the shop in Miami where the car was situated, it was time to hit the road. As you might expect, the results were unbelievable.

The YouTuber described the car as sounding very much like the fancy Bentley Continental or an exotic race car – not bad for a tuned Supra, right?

When it came to pumping up the speed too, the car was likened to an electric car and even a car from GTA – smooth but still powerful.

After taking it for a spin, the mechanics in charge explained that a few little bits needed to be done to the powerful car, even though it was clear that the twin-turbo V12 could run like a dream.

Take a look at all the action below.
