When elite athletes surpass $1 billion in career earnings, they generally celebrate by buying something expensive, but Steph Curry isn’t like that.
He’s earned a fortune playing basketball, but he still drives a ‘company car‘.
And his company car isn’t even that flashy.
Mind you, there’s another car in his collection that’s anything but generic.

What car does Steph Curry drive?
When athletes (or anyone else for that matter) are hired as brand ambassadors, they get paid but they also get freebies.
So when Steph Curry became a brand ambassador for Infiniti, as part of the deal, he was given an Infiniti Q50 as a company car to drive every day.
According to the US Sun, he still drives it, which is strange because the Q50 isn’t even in production anymore.
It was unveiled as a rebadged Nissan Skyline, and it survived for about a decade before being discontinued.

Clearly, Curry is on the same page as Warren Buffett or even Rimac founder Mate Rimac.
They’re both billionaires, and yet Buffett drives an old Cadillac while Mate Rimac drives an old BMW.
This isn’t the only car in his collection
We should probably point out that even though he drives a modest car on a daily basis, Curry also owns a few interesting (and expensive) vehicles.
He’s been spotted at the wheel of a Range Rover, a G-Wagen, and at least two Porsches – a Panamera and a 911 GT3 RS.
A while back he also bought a Ford GT, which he later modified by giving it the Mansory treatment.

And maybe that’s the reason why he prefers the Infiniti.
The Ford GT isn’t subtle to begin with, but Curry took this to the next level when he turned it into the crazy-looking monster you can see in the picture above.
The paps would love this.
