This street-legal boat car was spotted for sale on Facebook Marketplace in Arizona and does everything other than actually go into water.
The bright orange vehicle could easily be mistaken for a vessel from afar, or even up close.
One savvy seller put the vehicle on Marketplace after capturing attention while on the road.
But it has some clever features that could fool anyone.

Facebook Marketplace can be useful for gearheads to source all kinds of cars and parts.
In fact, recently, a rarely seen open-cockpit Lamborghini Gallardo concept lookalike was for sale on the site, alongside a fake Lamborghini Diablo.
But, this find may just top our list of unusual buys online.
The object in question is a ‘street-legal boat‘.
But, there’s one huge catch to the seemingly cool invention – it won’t quite take to water swimmingly.

You see – it’s not actually meant to be used in water.
The listing says in block letters:
“No, it does not go in water.”
Just in case you were confused.
It is however, built on a 1981 Cadillac chassis – so the bare bones of this thing are quite impressive.
“A boat is cooler on the street.
“Custom boat/car that turns heads everywhere, runs and drives,” the listing went on.
However, the seller actually let slip that they rarely drive it as it ‘gets too much attention’.
You could certainly be fooled by the bright orange vehicle, though.

It has the same characteristics as a small boat and is shaped more like a vessel than a car.
Inside, it seats five in a rather spacious cabin with bright orange hues and even has a buoyancy aid in the front, in between the driver and passenger seats.
If you fancy a boat-car to add to your fleet of daily drivers, or even an eye-catching school run vehicle, you can buy the boat car for just $8,500.
The seller is also possibly open to trades on the car that’s registered in Arizona.
But, be quick – the listing’s already been up for a week.
