How tall is too tall for a supercar? That’s the question Christian from RDS Automotive Group set out to answer.
At 6’9”, he’s not exactly the size car designers have in mind when sketching their next low-slung exotic.
And while he admits finding pants is a struggle and often involves a trip to the tailor, you can’t exactly let out the seam on a Bugatti.
So he lined up a handful of supercars and put them to the test.

Too tall for a supercar? The winners and losers
Christian put his height up against a lineup of dream machines – McLarens, Ferraris, Porsches, and more.
The test was simple. Which cars would allow him to sit behind the wheel and close the door?
He managed to get into a McLaren 750S, the roofless McLaren Elva, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Lamborghini Huracán Performante, and a Ferrari F8 Spider.
They weren’t all roomy, but they were workable.

Others didn’t stand a chance.
The Corvette Z06 was too tight, the McLaren Artura didn’t work, and the Bugatti Chiron was a fail.
“I don’t fit in Bugattis,” Christian said of the moment.
One thing the results showed is how unpredictable these cabins can be.

Fit in one McLaren, locked out of another. Fine in a Porsche, stuck in a Corvette.
So for anyone wondering if they might be too tall for a supercar, the answer could be yes… but also no.
Height vs horsepower: the internet weighs in
The clip racked up more than 80,000 likes and over 1,000 comments, many wanting to know just how usable those ‘fits’ really were.
“He can fit but is he comfortable?” one person wrote.
Another adding there’s a ‘big difference between ‘fitting,’ and being able to drive comfortably’.

That’s the real dilemma. Squeezing in for a quick clip is one thing, actually driving the car is another.
Christian set out to answer how tall is too tall for a supercar, but the test showed the question isn’t that simple.
Because fitting in doesn’t always mean fitting comfortably, and when the price tag runs into six or seven figures you probably don’t want to feel squished.
