In a shock reveal, the former US President Barack Obama says aliens are ‘real’, they’re just not hidden at Area 51, in a fresh bombshell interview.
Former US President Barack Obama has kicked off a new wave of UFO chatter after a blink and you miss it answer during a recent interview.
He flat-out said aliens are ‘real’, then immediately poured cold water on the classic government cover-up storyline.
Within a day, he jumped back in to clarify exactly what he meant, but the comment has since sparked a huge debate online.

Aliens are ‘real’ according to Barack Obama
Former US president Barack Obama made the controversial remark during a speed round-style exchange with podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen, when asked about extraterrestrial life visiting from space.
His answer was simple: “They’re real.”
The internet did what it always does: clipped it, reposted it, and ran with the boldest possible interpretation, and the moment quickly went viral, mostly because the interviewer moved on without any follow-up.
A day later, Obama posted a clarification on Instagram, explaining he was trying to stay in the spirit of the speed round.
He added that while the universe is so vast that the odds of life existing somewhere else are strong, the chances that humans have actually been visited are low, and he saw no evidence of alien contact during his presidency.

Area 51 is not where they are hiding
If you were hoping for an official confession about secret hangars full of flying saucers, Obama also shut that down.
He said the aliens are not being kept at Area 51 and joked there is no underground facility, unless there is an enormous conspiracy that somehow hid it from the President of the United States.
So yes, Obama is open to the idea that life exists somewhere out there. He is also firmly not signing off on the Area 51 alien warehouse conspiracy theory.
