Apple is gearing up to launch the long-awaited iOS 18 update.

With the new update, Apple will introduce a new feature that will make a lot of difference to a lot of people.

This is because users will be able to control their iPhone and iPad with nothing but their eyes.

Apple unveiled the new iPad just a few days ago, with the ‘Let Loose’ event that made headlines, among other things, for the cool ‘Made on iPad’ shoes Tim Cook was wearing.

Right after the launch, rumors about the upcoming iOS 18 update began spreading.

Everyone’s convinced it will be launched next month, just in time for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 10-14, this year.

So far, we thought the long-awaited Siri upgrade, with AI, was going to be the headline act.

But clearly we were wrong, because there’s something else.

Apple shared a video across its social media platforms to showcase a new feature we’d never seen before on an iOS device.

The company is set to introduce Eye Tracking, which allows users to control their iOS devices with their eyes.

This feature will be available for iPad and iPhone but not for MacBook, at least not right away.

In a way, it produces almost the same result as Elon Musk’s Neuralink, ie the ability to control your device without using your hands, but – of course – it does that using a completely different type of technology.

The video gives us a good idea about how it might work.

In the clip, a person simply uses her eyes to go through different pages and interact with different features on her iPad without ever using anything but her eyes, using Eye Tracking.

Just a couple of weeks to go and we’ll find out more about it.
