Remember the guy who urged us all to invest in Bitcoin back in 2013 and was largely ignored? Well, this is what he’s up to now after taking his own advice.

For those of you not in the know, more than a decade ago, Davinci Jeremie shared some free financial advice.

He posted a video on social media telling people to invest as little as a single dollar into Bitcoin.

But Jeremie didn’t just tell others, he invested his own cash into the cryptocurrency – and more than 12 years later, here’s how his life looks.

He advised people to invest in Bitcoin before it went big

Bitcoin arrived on the cryptocurrency scene back in 2009 with a whimper rather than a bang, and was initially virtually worthless.

In May of 2013, Bitcoin (or BTC) was worth around $40.

And it was at this point that Jeremie urged people to invest in Bitcoin.

In a six-minute long video, he shared his predictions on how Bitcoin would perform in the up coming years, and told his followers it was a good time to jump on.

“Listen carefully: this is the cheapest lottery ticket of your life,” he wrote alongside the video.

“Put $1 into Bitcoin (BTC) and hold it for 10 years. That tiny dollar could turn into something massive. And if Bitcoin were to somehow go to zero? You lose a buck. Big deal. But if I’m right… You’re going to remember this moment.

“Don’t come back to me in 2035 saying, ‘Dude… I wish I listened in 2011 or 2013′.

“I’m giving you the warning now the window is still open.”

Interestingly, just six months after Jeremie shared the video Bitcoin saw its first real price surge hitting a high of over $1,000.

As we know, since then BTC’s value has exploded, setting all-time highs of more than $120,000 last year.

And most of us are probably wishing we’d listened to Jeremie back in 2013.

Here’s what he’s up to now after following his own advice

Many of Bitcoin’s early investors have gone on to become very wealthy, like Erik Finman, who bought $1,000 of BTC when he was just 12, and was a millionaire by 18.

And Jeremie is no exception.

His social media accounts show him living the high-life, jetting off on exotic holidays to the likes of Monte Carlo as well as trips to watch the Monaco GP and days out on private yachts.

His Instagram, which has more than a million followers, shows Jeremie enjoying champagne while flying first-class, while another video revealed he’d treated himself to a Mercedes Maybach.

Is anyone else wishing they’d seen Jeremie’s video back in 2013?
