TECHART is celebrating 50 years of Porsche 911 Turbo with a limited-edition model inspired by one of Porsche’s greatest hits.

They call it the GT Street R Monochrome, and it’s available both as a coupe or a Cabriolet.

In both cases, you get well over 800 horsepower.

You also get a lot of carbon fiber.

A carbon fiber symphony

TECHART’s take on the Porsche 911 Turbo for its 50th anniversary is a symphony of carbon fiber accents.

Among other things, you get a fascinating carbon fiber frunk with an interesting motif.

This is captivating also because it’s unusual.

Generally speaking, tuning companies either use carbon fiber or they use decals and graphics, they almost never combine these two things.

No two vehicles are identical

Production is limited to 20 units, but the car is actually available in several different configurations.

You can go for the gold wheels or black wheels, all-black look or dark green and black.

The seats differ, too.

You can go for the traditional sports seat options, or opt for the perforated bucket seats.

TECHART also gave it a lot of power

Don’t let the carbon fiber package trick you into thinking this vehicle is all show and no go.

Whichever model you can go for, the GT Street R Monochrome puts out 810 horsepower and 700lb-ft of torque, giving the car a top speed of 215mph.

TECHART will only reveal the price upon application, but it’s probably a lot closer to half a million than we’d like to think.

Topcar, another tuning company, once launched a similar model that cost $700,000.

We wouldn’t be surprised if TECHART’s Porsche 911 Turbo came with a similar price tag.
