Georgia man drag races $130,000 Tesla Cybertruck vs gas-powered Ram TRX and there ends up being a staggering gap

When this man drag-raced a Tesla Cybertruck against a Ram TRX, the result was a total hands-down victory.

In the years since the Cybertruck rolled off the assembly line, people have been wanting to push it to its limits.

And what better way to do it than by subjecting it to a drag race?

Let’s just say, there was no doubt about who was top dog in this showdown.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been put through some truly bizarre challenges

For some reason, people seem especially keen to test Teslas.

Whether it’s up against a Chevy Corvette Z51, a Dodge Charger Daytona, or a BYD Sealion 7, it seems that everyone wants to see what the American carmaker is capable of.

And the Cybertruck seems like a particular target for this style of content.

Usually this takes the form of tug-of-wars or endurance tests, but drag-races also feature prominently in the pantheon of Cybertruck challenge videos.

Perhaps it stems from the truck being such a polarizing figure in the automotive world.

There was one clear winner in this drag race

YouTube personality MADMAXC7 has now pitted the Cybertruck against the Ram TRX – the 1500, to be precise – to see which of these green giants would prove victorious.

The Cybertruck shot into action and left the Ram TRX eating its dust.

Obviously, different factors can play into this, including the reaction times of the drivers.

Nevertheless, the result was resounding.

“I think the Tesla is going to win it every single time… as far as utility, as far as towing, as far as different features, the Tesla wins a lot of it,” the YouTuber concluded.

“I know people are going to hate this, but the Tesla is going to win. I’m not an EV lover, I hate EVs, but the Tesla is hard to beat.”

Viewers didn’t seem overly thrilled with the result.

“Take that refrigerator on wheels off road against the TRX and see who comes out on top,” one remarked.

“Truly did not know you could make a Cybertruck look any worse,” another said.

That second comment feels like sour grapes to us, we don’t know about you.
