The limited edition Ferrari Monza SP cost $1.75 million – making it one of the most expensive cars ever made.
The stunning supercar was unveiled by the luxury carmaker back in 2018 and produced the following year.
The cars actually went by two names – Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2, with the name referring to the number of seats it had.

The Ferrari Monza SP had a strictly-limited run
The Ferrari Monza SP had a strictly limited run, with just 499 rolling off the production line – and it came with a hefty price tag of $1.75 million (€1.58m) without any extras, which can add up to a ridiculous amount.
The body of the car was loosely based on the 812 but was given a redesign by Ferrari’s Centro Stile to create an elegant and modern-looking Barchetta style.
To keep the car light, it was created using carbon fiber composite bodywork and has doors that open upwards.
Inside, there’s a carbon-fiber single-piece seat upholstered in leather, a multifunction steering wheel, and a panel covered in buttons and dials.
The SP2 model has an additional seat, beside the driver’s, which is separated by a central carbon-fiber section.
It was fitted with Ferrari’s most powerful engine
The Ferrari Monza has no roof or windshield but to make up for that, Ferrari did include the most powerful engine it had ever made.
The V12 engine was ‘derived directly from that of the 812 Superfast’, according to Ferrari, and can produce 799 horsepower.
It can do 0-00km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of more than 299 km/h (186 mph).
“The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are the forerunners in a new concept, known as ‘Icona’ (Icon), that taps into a leitmotif of the most evocative cars in the company’s history to create a new segment of special limited series cars for clients and collectors,” Ferrari said at the time.
“The intention is to use a modern aesthetic to reinterpret a timeless style, with technologically advanced components and the highest performance possible through continuous innovation.”
