The world’s greatest motorbike collection is no joke, with millions of dollars of ‘milk money’ being poured into the Alabama museum.
This is the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum, once a milk empire and now the world’s largest collection of motorbikes.
Located in Birmingham, Alabama, the collection is home to 1,600 motorbikes.
These aren’t your average bikes either, this museum is home to motorbike royalty.

The world’s greatest motorbike collection was built on a milk empire
Many business gurus have invested their earnings into vehicle collections, not just celebs with a taste for the flashy lifestyle.
Yankee Candles founder Michael Kittredge showcased as much with his trio of Ferraris, Aston Martin DB9, and more.
Even the Bernie Ecclestone $650m collection went to a business tycoon who happened to be the youngest billionaire in the world.
While a lot of people collect cars, George Barber had other ideas.
He was convinced to go on a hunt for the finest bikes in the world.
The foundations of this glorious motorbike collection start with the creation of the family business – Barber Pure Milk Co., back in 1921.
George Barber soon took control of the company (now just Barber Dairy), but with a taste for motorsport, his empire soon had petrol running through its veins (figuratively).

After becoming the biggest dairy distributor in the state, he started diversifying in the 70s.
Since then, 1,600 bikes have been amassed at a site in Birmingham, Alabama, earning a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
The Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum also has its own race track, which hosts IndyCar and MotoAmerica events.

With some vehicles dating back as far as the 19th century, the multi-floor motorbike metropolis is a beauty to behold.
Some of the crowning jewels of the collection include a 1894 Hildebrand & Wolfmüller, a 1959 Ducati 200SS, and a 1995 Britten V1000 – which is one of just 10 created by John Britten.

The collection isn’t exclusive to bikes either. It’s also got the world’s largest compilation of Lotus cars.
The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum stands on its own feet as the best motorbike collection in the world.
It’s certainly in much better condition than this abandoned haul that was found in Virginia.
