Porsche has created a one-off Porsche 911 GT3 to mark 75 years of Porsche Luxembourg and it’s absolutely beautiful.
Luxembourg is the richest country in the world in terms of GDP per capita, and it was also one of the first countries to which Porsche began exporting its vehicles.
To mark 75 years of working in the country, the carmaker has unveiled this special-edition Porsche 911 GT3.
And it’s as stunning as it is exclusive.

The one-off Porsche 911 GT3 took more than 700 hours to paint
Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department is responsible for creating some unique and truly beautiful cars, like this one-of-one Sonderwunsch 911 Dakar.
The Sonderwunsch program was recently called upon to create a one-off car to mark the 75-year anniversary of Porsche Luxembourg – and it’s safe to say it didn’t disappoint.

The team from Porsche worked alongside Luxembourg artist Jacques Schneider to give a 911 GTS with Touring Package a complete transformation.
The car’s ‘elaborate paintwork’ took more than 700 hours to complete and is quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
The design features hand-painted lion graphics in Fire Red over the Grey Metallic paintwork.
The lion motif is painted on the bonnet, wings, doors, side panels, fuel filler cap, rear spoiler, and roof.
The colors used, red for the lion and the blue undertones in the grey exterior paintwork, are a reference to the Luxembourg flag.
Elsewhere the 911 GTS bespoke badges finished in matt black on both B-pillars, and the number ‘75’ in the grille of the front bumper.
Even the wheels were included in the transformation, and now feature the words ‘Vive Vive Vive’ , a shortened version of the phrase ‘Vive Luxembourg’, on the rims.

Inside, you’ll find more of the lion motifs, this time on the seat centre panels in the front and rear backrests, the door centre panels, and the lid of the storage compartment in the center console.
While on the headliner, there’s a carefully and skillfully embroidered outline of the country with the opening lines of the national anthem of the Grand Duchy written across it.
A closer look at Porsche Sonderwunsch – where dream cars are made
Porsche said the Porsche Luxembourg 911 GTS project is the ‘most elaborate ever produced so far as part of a Sonderwunsch project’.
And while that might be true, it’s fair to say that the program is no stranger to an elaborate design.
Porsche’s customization program actually dates back to the 1950s and these days allows its discerning customers to have near complete control over how their dream car will look.
Interestingly, although every Porsche model is customizable with the Sonderwunsch (German for ‘special request’) program, the 911 is the vehicle that’s most frequently customized.
As well as allowing customers to take control over how their car will look, Porsche also uses it to make one-off vehicles, like the Luxembourg one above.
