Makeup artist and YouTube star Jeffree Star has splashed his McLaren 765LT in bright pink paint.

The 765 LT is basically the pumped-up version of the 720S, equipped with the same twin-turbo V8 that powers most McLarens but tuned to deliver 765 PS (755 hp) and 568 lb-ft of torque.

It’s powerful enough to propel the supercar to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, 124 mph (from standstill) in just 7 seconds and to a top speed of 205 mph.

It has a slightly different body (the LT stands for Long Tail)  and a different price tag.

While the 720S starts at $280,000 USD, the 765 LT will set you back a hefty $380,000.

But that’s for the ‘base’ model and there’s nothing basic about this particular 765 LT.

Statistically speaking, most McLaren buyers opt to have their car customised.

It may sound obvious, but luxury automakers have only started taking this seriously, therefore focusing on their customisation programs, in recent years.

This pink 765 LT was built by SVO (McLaren Special Vehicle Operations) and everything about it, from the paint to the colour-coded wheels and the interior upholstery, is unique.

With a pink-on-pink colour scheme, it’s definitely out there, but very on-brand for Jeffree Star.

There are only a few exceptions, including the front splitter, wing mirrors and part of the frame – some of which is in naked carbon and some with light blue accents.

It’s so overdone and extreme that it almost makes sense.

Jeffree Star cars: What’s in his $2.4 million collection?

  • McLaren Senna: $1 million
