The I.C.E. St Moritz isn’t your average supercar event.

The annual spectacular takes place in Switzerland’s Engadin Valley.

Ultra-wealthy collectors and car enthusiasts alike flock to see an eye-watering array of supercars, hypercars and classics, each worth millions

They’re parked all over town and showing off their drifting skills and, most crucially, everything takes place on a massive frozen lake.

The I.C.E St Moritz – International Concours of Elegance – started with a simple, lofty question: what if a classic car show was held on a frozen lake?

In 1985, a group of automotive enthusiasts brought their vintage Bentley tourers onto the ice of Lake St. Moritz.

The world’s most extraordinary supercar event

The sight of these leisure cars with their tops down against the snow and ice was something to behold, and a concept was born.

It took years, but in 2019 that vision came to life, with the first supercar event taking place on Lake St. Moritz.

The I.C.E. St. Moritz is a show like no other, combining the beauty of luxury craftsmanship, the thrill of drifting and the natural beauty of ice.

The low traction of ice makes drifting slightly easier, as exemplified by the Porsche Taycan which set a Guinness World Record after drifting 11 miles on ice.

But to look elegant while doing so is a different story.

What to expect at The I.C.E. St. Moritz

For two days in February, the Alpine town of St. Moritz is flooded with exotic cars.

Paganis, Koenigseggs, Bugattis, and more make their way in to showcase their skills on the ice.

And these incredible cars aren’t only found on the frozen concourse: visitors can expect to see them parked all over town.

Much like the Top Marques supercar event, it’s a day for spotting rare concepts and one-offs.

And all the cars here are real, unlike the car show that consists entirely of replicas.

Some notable cars that have drifted their way over the ice include the unique-looking Aston Martin Bulldog and a Ferrari Testarossa.

It’s not every day you see a McLaren P1 drifting alongside a classic Mini—let alone on ice—making this car show truly a bucket-list experience.
