This $12 million expedition yacht might not be the biggest boat on the water, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s had one heli of a makeover, perfect for your next big adventure.

The Flying Manta was been made for exploring and adventuring, and after a two-year makeover, the yacht strives to be the perfect vessel for outdoor lovers, with a brand new helipad and a huge swim platform.

The new helipad is really the pièce de résistance for the Flying Manta, which also has its own refueling station and is one of the biggest on a yacht of its size.

This is the perfect yacht to sail the seven seas in, and while it’s built for adventure, it doesn’t shrimp – we mean skimp – on the luxury!

The $12 million expedition yacht had one heli of a makeover

The Flying Manta expedition yacht is a little smaller than your standard superyacht, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a punch.

Previously called Ophelia, the expedition yacht went through one heli of a makeover in 2015-2017. And it came out the other side bigger, better, and with 100 percent more helipads.

In addition to the frankly enormous helipad, the yacht gained a six-meter extension, a swim platform, a hot tub, and a whole new look inside.

The Flying Manta is definitely built for adventure. It boasts a hi-tech fishing setup, a ginormous swim deck, and the biggest helipad seen on this size of yacht. But it does not disappoint with the luxury.

This yacht is shrimply the best

The cockpit comes with a gaming-style chair and loads of fishing tender for if you want to catch your dinner. But you can also enclose the cockpit and make a sort of air-conditioned winter garden with live fish tanks.

The really impressive feature of the yacht is the gigantic helipad, weighing in at 3.8 tons. It’s Lloyd’s certified and comes with a refueling station.

It’s also the biggest helipad on a $12 million expedition yacht this size in the whole world.

And speaking of big things, take a look at the Flying Manta’s enormous swim platform, perfect for swimming and checking out all your fishy friends.

The yacht can house 12 guests in the six luxurious cabins, which are classily decorated. Because when you’re adventuring, you might as well do it in style.
