Back in the 19th century, a hand-cranked printing press was the height of technology, and there’s still a traditional one running to this day in China.
If you have a yearning for the past, then you would be so pleased to see the video of this traditional printing press that is still being operated.
When the press is hand-cranked, you can see the printing plates printing the news onto big sheets of paper, creating a traditional newspaper.
Check out the machine in the video above that used to be the height of technology, and the thing that spread news across China, long before social media existed.
