Giorgio Armani was the designer with a keen interest in yachts and property
The late Giorgio Armani was a design marvel who revolutionized the fashion industry.
The luxury designer’s empire reached different corners of the globe in many ways in the form of hotels, fashion shows, and even car collaborations.
As you’d expect, his design empire earned him billions. So it’s no surprise that he decided to purchase some lavish buys with his net worth coming to a whopping $12.1b, according to Forbes.

The fashion marvel’s property portfolio is something that dreams are made of. And he had many properties spread out all over the world that he enjoyed visiting.
Among his many homes, perhaps one of the most impressive is the New York City penthouse he reportedly purchased in 2019 for over $17 million.
But it doesn’t stop there.
An impressive house in Antigua was also reportedly in his possession, which we bet has views to rival even the most famous of paintings.

In fact, he also enjoyed seeing what Europe had to offer, with homes reportedly spread out across Milan and St Tropez, plus a reported residence in Saint Moritz, Switzerland.
One of his most famous buys? His huge sprawling yacht
Armani clearly had a keen eye for detail. So when he decided to invest in a yacht, he got involved with the design process.
The $65 million superyacht was designed by the man himself and was reportedly commissioned in 2008.
In fact, you can take a look at every curve and detail as we run you through the vessel here.
Plus, we can’t forget Project Metamorphosis, Armani’s third superyacht design, which had a number of owners before it was even fully built.
