This is the ‘Atlantis, The Royal Dubai‘ resort and it is an absolute architectural masterpiece.
From the unique shape of the exterior to the fire-breathing fountains you’ll find inside: it truly is stunning.

Obviously, the first thing that stands out is the distinctive shape.
It is so unique, in fact, that it is even to describe what it looks like.

It’s like an intricate pattern of supersized LEGO-style blocks but the building is actually asymmetrical.
One side is slightly taller than the other, and the roof deck isn’t located at the exact center.
The interior design is equally impressive.
There are 795 rooms, including 44 suites.
And here’s the best part: each suite has its own private infinity pool.
In addition to that, you also have a 295-foot-long infinity pool on the 22nd floor.
It is actually located on the roof deck we mentioned earlier.
The 43-story resort is also a home to a a collection of luxury amenities, from the fire-breathing water fountains to the largest jellyfish aquarium in the world.
Should you feel a bit peckish, you can choose between 17 different restaurants.
Including a Nobu and a cocktail bar run by Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal.
Atlantis The Royal Dubai cost about $1.4 billion to build but it certainly looks promising.
And it’s less expensive than you think, starting at ‘just’ $750 per night.
It’s not cheap but then again competition is fierce in Dubai.
Especially when it comes to real estate and luxury resorts.
After all, this is the place that gave us the world’s first 7-star hotel and the the tallest building on Earth.
It also gave us the the Palm Jumeirah, an archipelago of artificial islands shaped like a palm tree.
And by the way, the Royal Dubai was actually built by Atlantis, the same company that built the Palm Resort on Palm Jumeirah.
