German tuner builds BMW M5 inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Range Rover

A German tuner has built a BMW M5 sports car that was inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Range Rover.

While likening things to the Kardashians could be divisive, German tuners R44 Performance decided to take inspiration from Kim’s Range Rover when it came to its recent creation.

The company was looking to promote and develop aftermarket parts for enthusiasts, and wanted to stand out from its rivals and competition.

This is what led the company down the Kardashian Range Rover route, as they decided to extensively modify the German sports car.

What changes were made to the BMW M5?

The changes made to the BMW were extensive, creating something very dramatic and outlandish.

One of the first changes was to the color, with the M5 now boasting a 3M Satin Silver vinyl wrap.

With its tight fit, the bodylines of the sports saloon became even more pronounced.

Matching the silver of the car are the Vossen 22-inch HF9 Hybrid wheels.

These were directly inspired by the ones on the $300k Kardashian Range Rover.

These come in a custom glossy silver and complement the satin color of the car nicely.

One of the most noticeable features is the new ride height of the car.

Thanks to the new suspension, the BMW now sits much lower to the ground than it did before.

The changes and additions don’t end there, with even more inspiration taken from Kim Kardashian’s Range Rover.

While those additions were dramatic enough, R44 went even further with the changes.

Adding to the effect of its new springs and suspension, the company gave the BMW new side skirts and a front splitter.

Those changes created an illusion that the M5 was sitting even lower to the ground than it already was.

At the back of the car was a rear decklid-mount spoiler and a new diffuser, flexing their carbon fiber weaves.

The darker color of the diffuser and wing makes for a nice contrast against the bodywork.

Perhaps the only cringey part of this build, inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Range Rover, is located under the hood.

The engine bay of the M5 now has an aftermarket charge cooler inlet, painted in quite a bright gold.

It’s not the most tasteful of modifications that the sports car has had.

However, it completes an impressive redesign for this BMW M5.
