Vento, built by Turquoise Yachts, is officially the largest yacht built in Turkey and just set a new benchmark for the country’s shipbuilding industry.
The 288-foot megayacht was recently launched from Turquoise’s Pendik facilities near Istanbul.
Designed inside and out by British studio H2 Yacht Design, Vento blends clean lines and a striking blue hull with a layout meant for fun and livability at sea.
The first few glimpses of the yacht have already made waves with enthusiasts and industry watchers alike.

It has everything you would want in a superyacht
At 87 metres (285 feet) and roughly 2,550 gross tonnes, Vento is large not just in length but also in usable space.

That volume is one reason it’s listed as the largest yacht built in Turkey, although it remains dwarfed by the biggest superyacht in the world.
The hull is finished in what Turquoise calls a blue inspired by Tour de France racing colours, giving the yacht a bold and sporty presence on the water.
Outdoor spaces are a big part of Vento’s appeal.

On the main deck sits a 6.5-metre glass-sided swimming pool that also doubles as a skylight for the beach club below.
The beach club itself opens up to a drive-in tender dock, a feature often seen on much larger yachts.
Up forward on the foredeck, a touch-and-go helipad can be used as a basketball court when not in use for helicopters.
The sundeck is geared toward relaxed socialising with casual seating, a bar, an outdoor kitchen, and even space for an alfresco cinema setup.

The yacht will soon be available for charter
Inside, an open spiral staircase under a skylight connects all five decks, bringing natural light into the heart of the vessel.
Guest accommodation spans the main deck, with the owner’s suite located above and featuring its own private terrace and jacuzzi in some configurations.

Once delivered, Vento is expected to enter the charter market under the name Angelique.
When that happens, guests will have the chance to experience the largest yacht built in Turkey.
With modern design touches and big-space amenities, Vento represents a significant step forward for the country’s ambitions in the superyacht world.
