Ferrari has ‘phased out’ two of its beloved supercars, the SF90 Stradale and the 812 GTS.

During its latest financial update, the Italian supercar brand politely confirmed that it will no longer sell these cars.

In addition to these two, Ferrari might also be considering stopping building some of its other iconic supercars.

Ferrari stops production of SF90 Stradale and the 812 GTS

Ferrari has confirmed that it had ‘phased out’ the SF90 Stradale and the 812 GTS in this Q2 period.

That means the Italian automaker won’t build any of these supercars for at least the next three months and possibly beyond.

However, rumors suggest that the SF90 Stradale is set to get a new update at some point, so there’s plenty for Ferrari fans to be excited about in future.

The SF90 XX will still live on since it was only released quite recently, while the 812 GTS will be replaced by the extraordinary new Ferrari 12Cilindri.

The fate of the 812 Competizione and the Roma coupe

Ferrari has also said that the deliveries of the 812 Competizione and Roma coupe were down.

They said that both supercars are ‘approaching the end of lifecycle’.

So it is quite likely that Ferrari might stop building these iconic supercars.

The 812 Competizione is also – as we’ve mentioned – set for replacement by the new V12 Ferrari 12Cilindri, which boasts an incredible roaring engine.

Other than that, the Roma Spider continues to do good business for the supercar brand alongside the Purosangue and the 296 GTS.

It’s a shame that the SF90 Stradale will soon stop its production.

It was the first Ferrari to feature a proper plug-in hybrid drivetrain with a twin-turbo V8.

The V8 engine could produce 986bhp with a four-wheel drive and achieve a 0-62mph time of 2.5 seconds.

However, it’s not all bad news since the financial update also mentioned that Q2 also saw the inauguration of its ‘e-building.’

This is where the Italian supercar brand will build its first-ever all-electric Ferrari.
