Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel is no stranger to exhilarating cars, but his taste in vehicles certainly doesn’t translate from the film franchise he pioneered, as this two-story RV he commissioned is far from what you would expect.

Starring as Dom Toretto for the better part of 25 years, the tank-top trooper has gripped many iconic car steering wheels.

But when the camera’s lights go down, the actor appears to be much more of a comfort passenger than a racer.

That is, if his RV motorhome is anything to go off.

We know the Fast and Furious cast are paid rather handsomely, especially Vin Diesel, if celebrity cameo paychecks like The Rock’s fee are anything to go off.

But while there are tonnes of cars from the set to choose from to join Diesel’s car collection – including Dom’s iconic Charger and popular Super Bowl-featured Chevy Chevelle – he’s actually put his money into another type of vehicle.

Rather than smashing quarter miles in ten-second cars, Vin Diesel has opted for a beast that is neither fast nor furious.

Meet ‘The Comfy Cabin’, a $1.1 million RV from Anderson Mobile Estates, which serves as the makeshift road home for Vin Diesel.

The two-story RV features multiple bedrooms, a kitchen-diner, two office spaces, a lounge room, and a bathroom.

The decor is actually the opposite of what you might come to expect from someone with the action movie pedigree of Diesel.

Unlike Mariah Carey, who turned her upper deck into a nightclub, the Fast and Furious legend is much more feet-up and somber.

Anderson Mobile Estates is no stranger to celebrity endorsements either, having provided RVs for names like former POTUS Bill Clinton, Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston, Shakira, Jamie Foxx, and Will Smith.

In fact, the latter’s RV – named The Heat – was the inspiration behind Diesel’s purchase, who took order of the vehicle almost instantly after Smith did.

There is some disagreement about whether Vin Diesel actually owns the RV.

Despite having used it on shoots for Fast and Furious in Puerto Rico and Riddick: Dead Man Stalking in Canada, it appears that Diesel never took full ownership of The Comfy Cabin.

Instead, the RV is often listed for rental opportunities on the coachmaker’s website.
