Two-time MotoGP world champion Pecco Bagnaia had the chance to test drive the new Lamborghini Temerario, and the Ducati star is absolutely loving it.

It will replace the current flagship model, the Huracán.

Lamborghini has released a video of the Temerario hitting the track.

And the marque brought in a two-time MotoGP world champion to put it through its paces.

August 2024 saw Lamborghini release some massive news within the supercar industry.

The Bologna marque would unveil the Temerario, the successor to the Huracán.

It is clear that the Bologna brand is focusing firmly on the future.

The Temerario has been unveiled as being built on a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Its 4.0 liter, twin-turbo V8 is complemented by a trio of electric motors.

These electric motors in the Lamborghini Temerario combine with the engine to produce 907bhp.

And now, Lamborghini has brought in some elite help in putting the supercar through its paces.

Today, Lamborghini released a post of the brand heading to the famed Imola circuit.

Two-time MotoGP world champion Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia then emerges onto the track.

He is accompanied by Ducati MotoGP Race Team Manager Davide Tardozzi.

Pecco Bagnaia, for those who don’t know, is one of the best motorcycle racers in the world.

Bagnaia has won two world titles for the Ducati Lenovo team in the MotoGP World Championship.

The Italian currently flies the flag for Ducati alongside MotoGP legend Marc Marquez.

It appears that (for today), Bagnaia has swapped two wheels for four.

And he was selected to put the new Temerario through its paces.

After giving his seal of approval on the design, Pecco straps on his helmet.

Bagnaia remarks at the incredible ability and ease of the car to hit 10,000rpm.

“I’ve never experienced anything like this. Reaching 10,000 RPM is simply incredible,” remarks the two-time world champion.

The main thing that shocked the MotoGP star is the power/agility combination.

“I was really surprised, as was how easy it is to drive. It’s a frightening package. It feels like you’re driving an extremely light and agile car, with extraordinary power.”

Of course, being Lamborghini, the top speed absolutely blows Bagnaia away.

“The speed with which I reached 300 km/h in the Lamborghini Temerario on the straight was crazy,” Bagnaia said.

It is hard to think of a more qualified person to give his seal of approval.

If Pecco Bagnaia can be blown away by such incredible acceleration, then it is hard to imagine who won’t.
