An American man from Arizona spotted one of two Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, but also spotted a mistake with the supercar that sent the internet into overdrive.
The CCXR Trevita is one of the most exclusive supercars in the world, and it got its name from its special carbon fiber Diamond White weave.
While the hidden mistake is not what some enthusiasts will want to see, it won’t detract from the value of this incredible supercar.
In fact, you could argue the mistake adds to the value and makes this particular one extra special.

Where the hidden mistake is on the Koenigsegg
Arizona Instagrammer @phaulner showcased the mistake in a reel on his account.
He zooms into the interior of the supercar and points out the manufacturer’s plate in front of the passenger seat.
The plate states that the car is No.3 of the production run, however, as we all know, only two Koenigsegg CCXR Trevitas were made.
There is no way of knowing if this was a genuine mistake or something Koenigsegg decided to have some fun with.
However, fixing it could be costly and could risk damaging the plate.
In some ways, it makes this particular Trevita even more of a talking point.
Remarkably, Koenigsegg was going to produce three of these supercars.
But there is a good reason for them not to do so.
Why there are only two CCXR Trevita supercars in existence
It was the Diamond White carbon fiber weave of the Trevita that led to its limited production output.
This was down to the complex production methods and the extensive time needed to create the carbon fiber weave.
Carbon fiber manufacturing was still somewhat new when Koenigsegg produced the supercar.
Such was the length of time needed to produce the weave and get it right, Koenigsegg simply could not afford the long lead times for more cars.
Despite this, the CCXR Trevita is still an impressive sight.

Adding to this is its supercharged V8 engine.
The 4.8-liter twin-supercharged V8 engine makes 1,018hp when running on E85 fuel.
That propels the Koenigsegg to a top speed of 250mph, with a 0-62mph time of just 3.1 seconds.
The CCXR Trevita has the speed plus the looks to back it up.
