Citizen has launched four Star Wars-inspired chronographs dedicated to Darth Vader, Darth Maul, R2-D2 and C-3PO.

These new timepieces will be available next fall priced at $350, except for the R2-D2 model, which costs $310.

All four battery-powered watches are fitted with an unusual type of case dubbed the bullhead, so called because the crown to regulate the time and the chronograph button look like two horns located on the head of the watch.

This particular configuration is becoming popular again, especially with Citizen models, mainly because Brad Pitt’s character Cliff Booth wore the original Bullhead chronograph (below) in the 2019 Quentin Tarantino movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Collectors began lusting after the gold-tone Bullhead that Pitt wears in the film and that’s why Citizen is now heavily banking on this design.

The good news if you’re into Star Wars and watches is these four timepieces aren’t limited, which means anyone will be able to buy one without the usual pre-owned market markups… hopefully.

The timing is also impeccable as Disney+ is about to release the much-hyped Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

You’ll be able to stream the limited series from May 27 and it follows the titular Jedi Master’s adventures as he evades the Empire.

The story takes places 10 years after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the movie in which he loses his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker AKA Darth Vader, to the dark side.
