Geneva Watch Days 2022 is underway, and top-notch Swiss brands are releasing one hot watch after another.

Now that Baselworld is gone, manufacturers are free to concentrate on ‘Geneva Watch Days’, the hottest and most important watch event of the year.

With just a few days to go, it’s time to take a look at the three hottest releases from the show so far.

3. Urwerk UR 100 V UltraViolet – $56,000

Independent watch brand Urwerk is at it again with a dial that’s too difficult to read.

But it’s just so cool you’d forgive it anything.

It’s called the UltraViolet, and it features three of Urwerk’s signature ‘celestial’ complications.

Among other things, you can use the dial to calculate the distance the Earth has traveled around the Sun every 20 minutes.

The color combo is awesome, with a deep, vivid blue case and face, paired with a white textured rubber strap.

The price is equally ‘handsome’, coming in at $56,000 + taxes.

2. MB&F LM Split Escapement EVO Beverly Hills – $80,000

Another crazy model from an independent brand.

It’s based on the ‘standard’ LM Split Escapement EVO but the brand calls it the ‘Beverly Hills’ in honor of the newly-opened showroom in Beverly Hills, California.

It features a black face, blue sub-dials and a white rubber strap.

For reference, the standard model that it’s based on features a light blue dial and black subdials.

MB&F also decided to place two key components of the movement directly on the dial, right between the three sub-dials.

It’s a bit of a flex, but it looks amazing.

It costs $80,000, not including taxes.

1. Bulgari Octo Finissimo Sejima Edition – $14,100

Bulgari is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Octo Finissimo in style with a variety of new models.

This is probably the one that people will hate to love and love to hate.

It’s a bit controversial because it combines the classic ultra-thin design of the Octo with the modern style of Japanese architect Kazuyo Sejima.

The hours markers, text, and even the brand were removed from the dial, which now only features three hands for the hours, minutes and power reserve.

Rather than using a traditional transparent crystal, it features a honeycomb-style design finished in silver.

Bulgari will only make 360 pieces, with a price tag of $14,100.

Stay tuned for updates about the Geneva Watch Days.

In the meantime, check out the crazy $1M watch that’s made out of cheese.
