In a bid to highlight the impressive products from this Chinese manufacturer, one YouTuber has bought 11 of the wildest Xiaomi gadgets on its website and was blown away by nearly everything he opened.
You may have heard of Xiaomi in the last two years, not necessarily because of its wide array of tech appliances, but rather because its new electric vehicles are taking Asia and Europe by storm.
But the Chinese company’s bread and butter is gadgets, covering everything from phones to electric skipping ropes.
So with hundreds of products to choose from, one man has now been on a personal mission to showcase the best and the worst that Xiaomi has to offer as it attempts to become a global rival to Apple and Samsung.

Man explores 11 of the wildest Xiaomi gadgets
In the Western market, Xiaomi comes with a sense of skepticism, sometimes brushed with the stigma of Temu and Alibaba products.
However, the brand has begun to prove that it can dine at the same table as Apple and has even launched products that directly compete with the American tech giant’s flagship models.
You only need to look at the Xiaomi Pro to understand that its marketing strategy aligns against that of the Genius brand.
But phones aside, YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss has now bought 11 of the wildest Xiaomi gadgets that he could find, and took to a new upload looking like a kid on Christmas day.

With piles of boxes to get through, the present opening began, and there was little not to be impressed by.
The best of Xiaomi
Smart Band 10
To little surprise, Xiaomi has rivaled Apple and other tech companies with its own digital watch. But whereas the Smart Watch is priced at $200, this Band is just $50 and boasts a 10-day battery life.
Although it can’t send messages – but no one really does from their watch – the interface has everything you need, all in the right places.

Straight off the bat, the YouTuber gave it a 10/10 and considered running it as his own
“This has completely changed my mind on how much the average user should be spending to track their health,” he said.
Motion Sensor Night Light 3
Among the best-ranked gadgets he discovered was the Sensor Night Light 3.
Coming with a magnet that attaches to the wall, these in-house spotlights only illuminate when you walk into their vicinity and make that midnight loo trip seamless.
The third iteration is much warmer than the dazzling second-gen version, and the YouTuber lined his own walls with them, he loves them that much.
Smart Door Lock and Doorbell Combo
In a world where Ring and Amazon are creating stellar interactive doorbells, Xiaomi’s own version comes with the bells and whistles you need, but with more tech than you could imagine.
Described as ‘stupidly expensive, stupidly extra, but at the same time stupidly impressive,’ the $700 kit has your home tightly locked up, if you need such over-the-top security.
Brushless Cordless Drill
Pivoting from gadgets to tools, the cordless drill is even a top-range product, showing how impressive the Xiaomi range is.
“It’s every bit as powerful as it needs to be for the drilling that I’d feel comfortable doing myself,” the YouTuber said.
The mediocre gadgets of Xiaomi
Smart Skipping Rope
Kicking off the unnecessarily advanced round of wild gadgets is this Smart Skipping Rope. It comes with a built-in rep counter that will do all your maths for you, while sending the scores to your phone.
It even comes with weights that serve as the rope but won’t whip your ankles, mimicking the action while looking like a set of ninjas’ nunchucks.
But for $28, the YouTuber felt that it was eccentric and didn’t really have much effect, given that we can all count.

Cordless Pressure Washer
Another needless invention, albeit cool, the Cordless Pressure Washer simply dips into a bucket and is ready to splash – no plug-in needed.
However, as you can expect from the lack of mains power, the washer isn’t as powerful as your mainstream alternatives, and even on the jet mode, it would be satisfactory to clean cars, but not thick ground dirt.
Desktop Soundbar Speaker
Back in the realms of everyday tech, the Xiaomi desktop speaker failed to impress. While playing music louder than your ordinary desktop, the sound quality suffered, and the dim neon lights were almost redundant.
This was the worst-scored product in his list, although it boasted a positive 6.5/10.
CyberDog 2
Finally, there’s the CyberDog 2, and this robotic pet epitomizes the wildest Xiaomi gadgets. With a plethora of controls and movements in its arsenal, this computer’s best friend is a magnificent product.
But, without the fur, who really needs or wants a ‘borg, rather than a bark?

How do the wildest Xiaomi gadgets compare to Apple products?
The review continued to dive into some more middle-ground products, such as a portable printer – impressive but limited to 10 pictures per cartridge – a Pad Mini, a cordless drill, and a multifunction flashlight.
But the main domain is tech, and it’s clear to see that even in the wildest Xiaomi gadgets can easily live up to the shelf-stocked products that we see in Apple stores.
